Pampo on iPhone: two farm pictures, one above the other, with a hint button below.

How it plays

Two pictures. A few small changes.

Little hands get it right away, and there's nothing to read.

  1. Look

Two cheerful pictures, side by side or one above the other. Something's not quite the same.

  2. Tap

Tap what's different and the scene comes to life. Stuck? A gentle hint is one tap away.

  3. Make friends

Every finished picture earns suns, and every few pictures a new friend joins your child's world.

There's no timer, no score to beat and no way to lose, so the game never gets in the way of a good look.

Eight worlds

24 pictures in every world.

From the farm to outer space, each one full of friendly characters, from easy to a little tricky.

Made for little ones

Calm by design.

  • Nothing to read

Play is all pictures and taps, so pre-readers can play on their own.

  • No timers, no losing

Every picture can take as long as it takes. A wrong tap is just a tap.

  • Help when it's needed

A gentle hint is always there. If two pictures in a row are tricky, the game can quietly switch to an easier set. It never makes things harder on its own.

  • Quiet when you want it

Soft sound effects that follow the Ring/Silent switch, and one switch to turn them off.

  • Anywhere, any way up

iPhone or iPad, portrait or landscape, at home or on a plane with no internet.

Our promises to parents

Nothing sneaky. Ever.

We're parents' kind of boring: the game does what it says, and nothing else.

Questions parents ask

FAQ

What ages is Pampo for?

Toddlers and preschoolers, ages 3 to 5. Pampo is in the App Store's Kids category for children 5 and under. Play needs no reading, and the pictures start easy.

What's free, and what costs money?

The app is free to download, and the Farm and Meadow worlds are free to play: 48 pictures, with no time limit. The six other worlds are $1.99 each, or $4.99 for All Worlds, which also includes every world we add later. Each purchase is paid once. There is no subscription. (US prices; the App Store shows yours.)

Can my child buy something by accident?

No. Every purchase starts behind a grown-up gate: you tap three numbers that are written out as words, in order, within ten seconds. Then Apple asks for your confirmation as usual. With Ask to Buy, the family organizer approves the purchase first.

Does it collect anything about my child?

No. There are no accounts, ads or analytics, and nothing personal is asked for. Progress stays on the device. Purchases go through Apple, and the app has no third-party code, so nothing about your child or the device is sent to us or anyone else. The privacy policy explains exactly what that is.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The whole game plays offline. You only need a connection to buy or restore a world.

Does Family Sharing work?

Yes. A world bought by anyone in your Family Sharing group unlocks on the other family members' devices too. If it doesn't show up, tap Restore Purchases on that device.

We have an iPhone and an iPad. Do we pay twice?

No. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, so a world bought once works on every iPhone and iPad signed in to that account (tap Restore Purchases if needed). Suns and friends are saved on each device separately.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later, in portrait and landscape.
